vokera option boiler, no water pressure help !?

I have lost water pressure in my vokera option boiler, i am unsure how to add water pressure. I have no hot water or heating. Can anyone help ? i know its a matter of turning a valve somewhere but which one is the problem. There is a valve that is bright red on the left hand side of my boiler which looks promising, can any clever person out there help me ? many Thanks

hi ,the bright red button is a pressure release valve which could be faulty hence allowing water to bypass out of the system .strap a bag around the pipe that goes outside and see if it fills with water.to top up your system look on the pipes just below the boiler. there should be a cold filling loop or a connection for one.if not get one from b&q or plumbers merchant.ask them how to fill system up,its straight forward enough

Hi, if you look at the pressure gauge and the pointer is at zero the system will not work. The water pressure needs to be at 1 Bar, to increase the pressure there should be a small tap somewhere ( the one on mine is Blue and is underneath) and attached to it should be a metal flexible pipe. Turn the tap on slowly and you should hear the water starting to fill the expansion chamber. KEEP an EYE on the pressure gauge and once it's reached 1Bar you MUST turn it off. You might have to re-light the gas again, but it should work after you have re-filled the system. Check the pressure gauge at least once a month and top up to 1 Bar if required. Also you might have to bleed the radiators to get any air out.
Hope this helps.
