Emachine too noisy?

I have just purchased an emachine T1040 and it has roared since I purchased it. I've sent it back to emachines two times and it has not improved at all.

Is there anything I can do? It just roars all by itself.

I believe there is a problem with the fan. Mine did that too and then suddenly the power supply burnt up.
