thetford cassette toilet does not flush?

we have just bought a caravan with a thetford toilet but it wont flush could someone tell us the problem with it as never had this problem before with the toilets thanks

I'll send all details I have hoping its for the right model.
I've had this problem with C2 & C3 models the pump jamed on one and was knackered on the other.
Hopefully it's not switches they're buggers to get at.
