skydish and digibox?

hi all ,
can i use these on a freeview,with out buying a freeview

Yes your sky set up will pick up freesat programmes, but not all of them. However you could buy a freesat card from sky £20- £30. to enable C4 & C5, or find one on eBay.
Why not give it a try ? Take your sky card out and see what you get.

Freeview comes down an aerial not a dish and so the answer is no.

However there are many Free To Air Channels: BBC, ITV, etc. that you can watch. Additionally if you have an old Sky subscription card, that will allow you to watch a few more channels that are Free To View. (It takes about three days in the slot for it to activate.)

Finally you could but Freesat receiver and just plug it into your existing dish. They have better EPGs for the free services than the Sky box

However NONE of the above have the same channel line up as the terrestrial Freeview service.
