zanussi nexus FL 1082 fails to fill with water on boil wash (90 degree) setting. All other functions OK. Selet boil with prewash, completes prewash OK and then sits inactive. Select boil alone and it just sits inactive.

no hot water coming in to machine.is the hot valve connected at the back of the machine to the hot water supply with a pipe?.is the hot tap switched on?.is the pipe kinked.if you have hot water to machines hot inlet valve then take the lid off and check the coil on the hot inlet valve.3-4kohm resistance across connections.normally they fail open circuit.if no resistance reading then suspect coil open circuit.if you can find another coil they can be changed or replace the whole hot inlet valve
