Can I use a belt from an old machine to fix my Zanussi Nexus?

Can't get any spare parts here and have another machine (different make) with a belt on it. I wonder if it would work to mend my machine Zanussi with this old belt?

it has to be the right length oterwise it will slip on spin an come off the pulley.
