where is the battery on my canon 10530G cooker?

I have no handbook for my gas cooker Canon 10530G and it does not ignite.Where is the battery

the battery compartment is located on the bottom left of the cooker on the black plinth ( flick out the black plactic compartment but becareful not to pull it out to far you may pull the wires of)
