my fisher & paykel GWL11 won't finish spin cycle?

last night my machine fisher paykel GWL11 wouldn't finish the spin cycle. I noticed a lot of suds so i let the machine sit overnight. I have since tried twice to get the washer to run start to finish. I have even used the extra rinse cycle. Clothes are wet and seem to be unrinsed. i can hear water in the drum but see only a little at the bottom when machine is empty. The machine does seem to be spinning at a low rpm and i can hear water running over the clothes but it spins for a few moments then slows and stops. I also noticed only a little bit of water draining from the drain spot in the back of the machine. The suds are gone. The red light flashes and i hear 3 beeps....please help

the diverter valve had a piece of wicker laundry basket stuck in it. Seems to be back to normal now.....

If the water drains out slowly it definitely sounds like some form of blockage and it should be right there in the pump opening or just inside. The other possibility is that something is blocked further inside the bowl. The only way to know for sure is to remove the inner steel bowl and look. This is not as difficult as it may sound. Remove the lid. Remove the agitator by unscrewing the plastic wing nut down in the centre & pull agitator off. Remove two plastic plugs at front edge of top deck & take out the screws underneath the plugs. Release the clips at the back of the top deck & lift it as high as you can. Get someone to hold it up while you pull up on the steel bowl and remove it. You can then look down onto the top of the pump cover. Remove any obstruction & put bowl back in reverse order.

i took the pump off yesterday and water came out but there was nothing there when i took it off. I checked up inside where the pump came off and i found nothing....would a blockage be right there or would i have to go fishing for it? thanks...

the last red light flashes and the machine beeps. The water is draining slowly during the start of the spin cycle. I can see the water recirculating while it is in the spin cycle rather than just draining as it usually does & It does sound like there is water in the drum after the basin has drained.....

When it beeps what lights are on along the top row? That is between the wash lights and the final spin light. Also, how fast does the water drain out into the sink? May be a blockage in the pump but may also be other reasons that is why I need the fault code lights on the top row. Also which red light flashes?

drain pump again...i say again because this seems to be a common fault on any type of machine over the last few days. the spin will not complete properly or at the correct rpm with excess water in the drum. if the drain pump is clogged, blocked or on its way out the machine will not finish, suds will be left and often the machine will not use the fabric softener.
