adjusting doors between frames?

I put in some interior doors and they are all off an inch or two. I have used levels etc but to no avail. When i close them, light comes through and if there is the slightest change in pressure in the house the doors begin to bang (for example turning on heater) or swamp cooler. Thanks to anyone who can be of help.
