My dishwasher is leaking from the cold water fill pipe where it is connecte?

My dishwasher is leaking from the cold water fill pipe where it is connected to the mains. I have tried tightening the connection . It is a Hotpoint DF22. Do I just need a new seal

yes, sounds like new seal is required unless the hose union crimp has broken
