worcester 24i rsf combi boiler?

Have ordered and am going to fit a pressure vessel. I have been told that it is charged with a gas. Being a new one will this already be charged with gas? I have also been told that it has an valve on it that can be blown up with a car pump with just air to one bar. Could you let me know which one is right.

It would have been worth trying to pump up the old one first assuming that you didnt get water out of the inflating valve. How do you know it actually needs changing?

Andy. Pressure vessel internal in back of unit. Difficult to get at. Reason for replacing - pressure goes up to 3 bar and then water comes out of pressure release valve. Otherwise boiler runs o.k.

all vessels should come pre aired there is no gas inside at all. The valve to increase pressure looks just like a bike/car tyre fitting where you would normally increase the pressure from.

Is it external or internal of the boiler?

Why are you replacing?
