How do I replace an extractor fan switch with a pull-cord?

I have a Vent Axia Solo extractor fan in my bathroom - it has an on/off switch housed in a separate box (about the size of a plug-socket) adjacent to the fan. This switch has broken (the fan has not) so I need to replace the box, preferably with an on/off pull-cord switch, or an on/off with time pull-cord switch. Anyone got any ideas if and where I could get one and how much it would cost?

if the fan is ceiling mounted ,some electrical wholesalers sell a fan isolator pull switch. if your fan is directly above bath ,i recommend rewiring fan supply by repositioning pull switch over by the door. if the switch is wall mounted then pull the supply cable out , re-route to ceiling and fit an ordinary 5amp pull switch then wire back down to fan! if its a timer fan it gets a bit more complex . pull switch better with a neon so you know what position pull sw is in.....
