Channels missing?

I have had my freeview box for about 2 years and it has always worked perfectly well until 2 days ago. I turned it over because the picture on ITV and Channel 4 were breaking up - now I can't get either. It isn't the areial any help????

Try switching off at the socket for 3mins then turn back on this happens occasionally with mine.
