water temperature not hot enough on my Mira 88 shower?

the water temperature coming from my hot water pipes heated by a combi boiler is piping hot yet even though the temperature setting on my Mira 88 shower is set to maximum the water is only luke warm. Is there a way to adjust the mix to reduce flow of cold water and increase flow of hot water?
thanx for any help

fit isolation valves onto the two supply pipes (all outlets should have iso valves fitted anyway), and these can be adjusted independently to balance your pressure and temperature

i have the same problem too, again with a combi boiler that gives scorching water from other taps.

i bought a service kit in the hope that there would be a way to adjust the temperature somewhere in the depths of the shower but although i fitted all the new parts, it was basically a waste of time as it seems that there is no way of adjusting the hot water flow inside the unit.

i have tried to all variations of pressures of water coming from the cold mains and boiler to see if that would help but no joy, it can get hot but becomes inconsistent - not good in a shower

the only thing left to do is to swap the hot and cold inlets into the shower around. from taking the unit apart it seems that the temperature knob open and closes the hot water tap, by swapping them around it should operate the cold flow, with the default flow being full-on hot. Not a great solution but cheaper than a new shower if it works

i have exactly the same problem, i have asked a friend who is a plumber and he says it could either be the filters or the cartridge (the big bit in the middle). when i find out what the problem is with mine i will let you know!
