1999 Ford Escort Handbrake not working. Suggestions?
My husband replaced the brake shoes and in doing so found the handbrake mechanism "ceased". He "unceased" it, but it still isn't working. Needs suggestions.
just a suggestion, based on my experience with my car of the same model. have him check the rear calipers. my brakes worked fine but my handbrake didn't. i had to change my rear calipers.
