Hi there,

Used the dip switch method which diagnosed PCB 2 as the problem.

I had replaced this board 2 years previously and doubted it was the problem.

I then found this thread and checked the fan at the top of the boiler and found it to be turning but a bit stiff so I was about to take everything apart when it loosened.

I had only taken out the earth wire screw, which released a small nut which was a bugger to get back into place but eventually I managed it, when the fan suddenly loosened, probably no connection but due to fiddling about in the general area.

Once everything was back together the boiler switched on and now works a treat.

I have exactly the same problem. The fan starts, there is a click but no ignition. The fan stops and imediatley starts again but again no ignition. This continues at infinitum. Same simptoms on both DHW and CH. I was gonna buy a new PCB tomorrow but in light of this I might wait.

Did you get it sorted in the end and if so what was the problem/solution?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Traced my fault to a sticking fan motor in the top part of the boiler. Once freed to run smoothly the boiler then worked ok.

I have exactly same problem. I too changed the ignition pcb but fault just the same?

Thinking of calling a Corgi engineer.
