Potterton EP2000 programmer?

My Potterton EP2000 emits a clicking sound when BOTH CH and HW switches are ON. The proammer is working fine in all other conditions.

Have removed the old EP2000. Installed a new EP2000. The new one is working OK. The fault with the old (brown) EP2000 is possibly a relay on the PCB, or component/s failure in the relay coil/contact circuitry.
