old soil stack been cut off at floor level in upstairs bathroom, stack runs up inside house it has wc connected to it i need to install pipework to take shower and bath but the waste that is already there looks quite flimsy i need to bend this a little to allow connections....will it be easier to cut stack off under floor and fit a manifold or try to attatch to what is already there cheers kev

You don't say if the wc pan has s or p trap
If you are going to box in the unsightly pipework after
then you can fit a new waste boss to the plastic elbow of a p trap
Are you fitting new wc anyway?
Some elbows have bosses pre fitted
