How do I fix Internet Explorer erratic behavior?
Windows XP Home with service pack 2
Internet explorer 6 from the service pack.
When new windows open regardless of if they were popup or open in new window link after they are closed the original window still shows the other window toolbars ect. normally scrolling the content window will clear it from there but to be able to fully clear it IE must be closed.
Normally access to the toolbar on the parent window does not work after this happens either.
Adaware and spybot SD have found several things ont this PC over and over. do I need to turn off system restore and run these toos again? Anything else to try?
