The mastic around the windows and door on my house are quite old so I was gonna redo them all. Whats the best way to go about this? Should I try an remove the old stuff or should I just mastic over the old stuff an make sure it beads over the edge of the UPVC properly?
needs to come frame at least sealing over will cause water egress to side of frame if old windows drainage may be blocked water will build up causing unit to fail or water penertration of customers property

just make sure old mastic dry and clean it should stick ok and remove any bits peelin off
