expansion vessel?

i have a vokera linea 24 combi boiler with a broken expansion vessel.there are 8 rads on the system.does anyone know what size external vessel i should buy, thanks.

Hi Tony This will also depend on the rad sizes and amount of pipe work within the heating system. 18lts vessel should cover you fine. If fitting yourself this should be fitted on the heating return pipe to the boiler. Hope this helps.

If the flue is side entry they're quite easy to replace .. however if you're looking to fit an external vessel then an 11 Litre will do the trick :) .... Have you tried re-pressurizing the vessel? Easily done with a foot-pump, look over the top of the boiler at the back you'll see a dust cap like on a car... pump to about 3/4 bar... *S*
