how do i replace drum bearings on my zanussi aquarius?

i have been told that the drum bearings on my zanussu aquarius F1245W have gone is it adifficult job to replace them and are they readily available

you have to remove the whole drum.if it is a one piece drum you can't just replace the bearings you have to purchase a whole new drum complete.if drum splits you need 2 bearings,1 bearing seal and 1 tub seal for a basic repair.the drum shaft might be damaged and need replacing but you will not know this until you have stripped it down and assessed its condition.BIG DIY JOB.lots of engineers dont do these because of hastle and cost involved!
