Hotpoint Ultima 1200?

I've moved to France where only cold water supply is available. Machine asks Check Water Supply. Will it not work without supply to hot water input?

hi try putting cold piped to the hot and cold
valve and see if that works the machine will heat the water itself anyway, hope this helps
