my samsung yh-820 mp3 player's screen says "Device can't hdd initialize. device will turn off" and then shuts itself off. How can i fix this or where in the Boston area can i bring it to be fixed?

After trying to plug it back into the computer for the recovery utility, try formatting it if the repair or rebuild library are to no effect.

I had your exact problem with the same player after letting it in recharge for an entire night.
I returned it to assistance under warranty and they changed the HD, for free
(I live in Italy).
Now the player works fine.
