my cd player will only read cds when i put them into to the player more then once, sometimes i have to re enter them up to 10 times (my cds are all new bought in mucic shops)

Hi sounds like the laser lens is dirty or on its way out . Try a cd lens cleaner,they are a disc with tiny brushes and with a bottle cleaning solution alcohol. other than that you need to take it to bits and order replacement part or carfully clean the lens with a cotton bud and cleaning alcohol.
