Had this machine for years and never ever had a problem until today. I put a load of washing on and once it reached the rinse cycle, the machine failed to spin. It still drained (slowly) and made the saddest noise like it was trying to spin but couldn't. I turned it off due to the noise as it sounded like it could overheat and catch fire. Every other step works except the final spin also. Still fills up but won't spin. Can somebody please help me? Thank-you

It wont spin until all water is out of bowl. Could be a partial blockage in pump causing it to drain too slowly. If you leave it going it may eventually beep & come up with a fault code which will be of more help. If you get a fault code which will be a series of lights on & off along the top row. Make an exact copy of which are on & which go off & e-mail me.
