i have just started a plumbing course and need to know what a complete cold water system check is i know it might sound a daft question but i hope someone can help.
for module 5, you need to open all cold taps and replace ball valve in the loft, check all iso valve are correct, kitchen isolation valve change and freeze pipe and drain off by the drain cock.

I have similar problem i fix the issues turn on all taps says 20 degrees but then when i press finnish it says i didnt do cold water system check yet there is no option to use a pressure gauge to test the water pressure so i dont see how to complete this

you need to check all isolators on cold water lines and run taps making sure the temp is 20degs

im on it too ive done everything except that system check i know you have to check pressure from the washing machine cold water isolator valve but it wont let me put the water gauge on it

it should be under module 5 in your book if your doing the pc scenario n e way
Turn off supply
Remove ball valve
Fit new one
Turn water on.
Check operation.
Check for leaks.

Me 2 , ive been over it time and time again.
Tried all taps, valves ect, nothing works !!
oh apart from throwing the laptop across the room ! that helps some !
