whats the problem here with my maytag?

My maytag performa model pavt234aww hot water runs in the tub all the time regardless what cycle its on or even if it's not plugged in.

If water valve allows water to pass in to machine even when power is off can only mean that valve is stuck open. Replace the valve with a new one.
