How to fix a Kenwood Chef?

The dough hook is stuck in my Kenwood Chef, no amount of coercion will budge it, the motor turns manually when it reaches the end of its travel. It is jammed solid in the socket. How can I get the hook out?

My Kenwood Chef works perfectly when there is nothing in the bowl, but when there is something in it the beater will not stay in the socket and I cannot press the release button and can only release it with a pliers

hold the socket that the dough hook fits into firmly and turn the dough hook counter clockwise, you may need to use two pipe wrenchs, good luck,
