how can i fix my kitchen blender?

In my blender the base part wont spin. when i put the jug onto the blender base its not spinning to blend anything

Mine stopped spinning because the plastic teeth that fit into the base snapped off . Maybe that's the problem. I need to find a spares for that somewhere. Good luck.
