The tub holds water through the spin cycle. When I let gravity do the work it drains fine, so I don't think it's a clog. How can you tell if it's a belt problem or a pump problem?

I am not an expert but here's a suggestion anyway. Our machine went like this and it turned out that coins had fallen into the little rubber sump pipe at the bottom of the drum. I dont think they had reached the pump, but it fixed the problem. Its worth a try.
