kenmore series 90 washer will not drain or spin?

My 3 year old kenmore series 90 will not drain and thus will not go into spin cycle

check the drain pump. it will probably either be faulty and not working at all, or will be blocked in either the filter, or possibly the pipework leading to the drain pump.
