How do you replace the handle and hose on a Dyson DC07?

The locking device at the top of the handle on our Dyson DC07 has broken and although I have super glued it I would like to replace it. Also the hose has split near the top so that could do with changing too.
Please could you provide answers to both ?

Many thanks

Dead easy.
Pull the hose back at the bottom where it connects to the machine. Behind the hose there is a plastic tag that you must pull back. This releases a catch and allows the hose and connector to be pullled upwards and out of the machine. It may need a little force but it will definitely come out.

As to the handle - I suspect that the handle comes as a complete assembly with the metal wand.
