how do i get water to flow into my zanussi dw907 dishwasher?

how do i get water to flow into my zanussi dw907 dishwasher it had trouble before with blockages but wasnt around to see what the repair man did to fix it. it is getting very hot because there is no water going into it

Fixed it now.
I replaced the water inlet valve, which looks like it may have a little filter attached to it. Now it fills.
Cost me £20 for the valve inc delivery.
Not bad I think, our lass was talking about going to get a new dishwasher.

Where abouts is the water inlet filter?
I'd like to check its clear or replace it.

remove the filters and remove the screw from the plastic dome piece in the dishwasher base.remove the syphon tubes one by one (3 in there)and rinse them in HOT water.now put machine on its back and you will see a looped clear tube on the right side coming from the sump.remove one end and blow down it .refit this end and remove the other end and blow down that and refit.now find the cold water inlet valve in the base and there will be a tube (possibly red) attached to it .remove this and blow down it.refit tube and all other parts and try.should now work
