jvc camcorder?

when i switch on camcorder viewer is blue with instructions remove lens cap - does anyone know if this is easily/inexpensive to fix?

if you go onto the customer support page of jvc .co.uk this problem is highlighted (I'm having the same problem myself) they give you a number to call with a list of models affected for a free repair hope this is off help to you
