The box is about 2-3 years old and I have never 'scanned' any firmware into it. Is this the problem and how do you do it? Do I need a null modem cable? I am with VM

i would try updateing the firmwear for the eurovox , to 2007 or 2008 , to fix this ,, mick go to www.4shared .com . for the firmwear for that box ,

the firmware date is October 20 2006

the 8 channels are already set at 'off'

any other ideas gratefully received

there is all ready firmwear in the box , if you go to menu / (system information) press ok , you will see the firmwear date there , eurovox has a timer on , it make sure that its set to off " just press the yellow button, when you have the box on , and that will take you to the timer , make sure that its set to off , in all 8 channells . mick
