hi my hotpoint wm55p washing machine broke its drum support arm which i have replaced,but when i turn it on the machine trips my electric just before the drum starts to turn, could the earlier problem have damaged the motor and how do i check the motor? any suggestions welcome
suggest you check the heater element, for a s/c when spider assemble arm broke inner drum would have tipped/ dropped and rubbed through the heater element.
