bush tv sound but no picture?

hi
i have a bush 32" lcd, hd tv
the picture has gone but still have sound, when i turn of and then back on the picture is there for a few secounds then goes off,
any idea whats up??

If the screen is not lit after the picture disappears then it is more than likely the inverter PCB this circuit supplies the high voltage to the screens backlight.
The small transformers on these boards sometimes fail.

If the screen is still lit then the problem is caused by a connecting lead inside the set which connects the main circuit board to the LCD driver board.This is a common problem with many LCD sets but a replacement lead is usually needed but very difficult to obtain.
