Samsung LCD TV will not turn on. Please help?

Hi, I've had the Samsung 32" LCD LE32R51BD for about over a year now. And sadly the warranty has just finished.

The problem with the TV is that it will not turn on.

Anyone know how to fix this? Is it expensive to fix?

Would greatly appreciate anyones help.

Thanks in advance.

The problems I have had are blown capacitors, not resistors, they are 10v and need to have a higher rating, I used 16v on the smaller ones, 25v on the bigger. I tink there are a total of eight all together, it is easy to spot the bad ones, their tops are popped up or slightly rounded.

I've got the same problem with my 40inch samsung lcd tv. Apparently its due to blown resistors on the power board. If you remove the screws holding on the back panel, the power board is at the top right and you can see the blown resistors. Take out the power board and get the resistors replaced at local repair shop or take Tv to shop and tell them this may be the problem. Shouldn't cost more than 20 quid.
Hope this is helpful.
Don't buy Samsung again, i'm not cos i've been very dissapointed with the product.
