How do I replace washers in my toilet cistern?

My caroma toilet cistern is not shutting off properly after flushing

Turn off water supply at local service valve or stop tap.
Flush toilet to check supply is off.
Unscrew ball valve block to expose rubber seal.
Renew seal or complete valve.
A good DIY manual will show parts/procedure to familiarise before starting.
