Hi, I recently mended mine by putting small pins to atatch the dial to the mechanisum that is turned by the small motor, I took it all apart and you can see where the small plastic lugs have snapped, you have to take off the small horse shoe clip on the back and then the dial will slide out from the front, take note of the positions of the small plastic tags on the metal arms, the ones you use to set the time of the controls as they must go back the same, once it is all apart use a small drill, about 1mm, you will need 2 drill bits, and drill through the dial and the cog and then snap off the plain end of the drill bit to use as a pin, about 8mm long and push it into th hole conecting the 2 pieces, do this the same on the other side and then reasemble...
This is quite a fiddly job and I only did mine as I couldnt find any new or second hand ones, I did this on mine about 6 months ago and touch wood it has been fine since,,
Hope this helps
