how can i drop the pressure on my 24i boiler?

I topped up the water pressure on my worcesters 24i boiler today and I put too much in.When I turn on the C/H the pressure gauge rises to 3bar and I think it will keep rising. How can I drain water out of the system? Can I use bleed key and drain it out of a rad?

you can use the bleed key or a drain valve dont use the pressure relief valve it could get dirty then you might end up with the reverse problem

The head of the pressure relief valve is behind the control board, stricting speaking you shouldn't remove the casing if you aren't gas qualified
