Pull Chord swich for shower?

Hello, the pull chord in my bathroom snapped, but I dont think there is anything wrong with the switch..would it be easy enough to reconnect the chord?? If so do i need to disconnect all the wires in order to see where to reconnect it??? I tried to have a look at it yesterday but couldnt see where to reconnect it.

(Obviously i'd switch all the power off first. :S )

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I would like tp be able to have a shower again lol.

Getting at the securing point for the cord inside the switch usually involves dismantling the switch contacts
and action. Not the rocket equation but not for the banana fingered either.
Replacement switch is simplest which as you say will need power and wires disconnecting anyway.
Once the defective switch has been safely isolated and removed you have nothing to lose by taking a look.
Be vigilant with wire connections for correct position and security. Crossed connections blow fuses at best,
loose connections overheat severely at that load current.
