HOW CAN I RECORD ON MY SKY+ BOX?

I DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO SKY BUT I RECEIVE FREESAT CHANNELS ON MY SKY+ BOX IT HAS A HARD DRIVE BUILT IN SO I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECORD YET I CANT

Hi, the kind folk ): at sky + have it tied up if you dont subscribe and they block the function on the boxes hard drive. BUT- you can still record what you want to through a vcr. I would have a gamble they will derestrict it soon due to Freesat competition. You have to subscribe to sky as they have to activate the recording part of the sky+ service @ a cost of £10 per month.

They are not daft at SKY. If you are not recieving programmes from the sky satelite then the box will not recognise any other input. It's a software thing
