Potterton Netaheat 50e Boiler?

After 9 years the pilot light has gone out and the heating and hot water have gone off.

When working properly the pilot light is on and there is a noise when I turn on the central heating. Now nothing.

I have changed the fuse and tried the reset button but there is no change. The reset button appears to do nothing at all - is this a switch that is supposed to make a noise ? It doesn't and, of course, the pilot light does not come on when I press this either. Perhaps the switch is broken ?

How do I fix it ?

Thanks,

Michael, Streatham.

Thanks.

Thanks but it is the permanent pilot light going out that has coincided with the boiler not working.

The reset switch has previously reignited the pilot light and led to the boiler working.

This has not happened this time and the pilot light is still out. Surte looks like the boiler only works when the pilot light is lit.

I will call for mainteneance (from the manufacturer) tomorrow.

Thanks anyway.

You are correct ASA the netaheat is totally automated,so there is no permanent pilot.Fan,pressure switch or PCB.That is the question but which one.

I'm certain your boiler has electronic ignition not continuous pilot light
The little red reset button is hardly protruding in the normal run mode so will not move much or click into position.
