Renault clio 97 immobiliser fault?

hi, I have a renault clio 1.2 97 model. With the annoying immobiliser. In nice sunny weather my car works like a peach. In damp, wet cold weather the immobiliser seems to not let the car start? I have many different things like i may have a leak etc but what i did was take the immobiliser circuit board temporaly out of my car and kept it inside overnight so it wouldnt get wet etc when i clipped it back in worked fine. did this again and it didnt. its quite a nice day today and my car wont start. it seems to be the immobiliser as the car wont even turn over without the immobiliser kicking. anyone know if you can disable the immobiliser or get someone to completly take it out many thanks

buy a new sensor and wire it lower in the car. theres a problem older models because of the position of the immobiliser being in the roof, condensation and leakages through the sun roof and aerial usually wreck the sensor, however usually it isnt the whole immobilising system, its just the sensor. just go to a scrap yard and buy a new one (bout £5-£10) and try it. i've found this fixes a lot of immobiliser problems.

Ive got the same problem with my 2001 clio. I found several websites for garages which override or remove the immobiliser.Think Im going down that path.
