Can I fix my Dyson?

My upright Dyson DC07 has slowly but surley stopped sucking. there doesn't seem to be anything blocking it..it's only a couple of years old...any idea?

check the short hose near the beater bar, it's possible that it's got a cut. the other thing it could be, is the filters need cleaning.
