How to tune a proline tv so i can watch video's on it?

My friend has an old PROline television and she has just connected it to her video player, the tv plays all 5 normal channels through the video but we do not know how to tune the video channel?? so that she can watch her video's. The remote control is the same one that came with the tv and does not state which button to use for tuning, and she has lost the intruction manual that came with the tv.
Any help would be great, cheers

if the old tv has AV " on it , see if the video will play on av , if you try the menu button on the remote, and look for search " mode on it, put a video flim" that you know in , have it running, go to a blank channel on the tv one that is not being used" now with the tv remote , go to search mode if you can , and search for the film , when you find it , save that channel with your remote, and that will be your video channel , you might find a manual for the proline tv on google .. mick
