how can i fix my Cannon salisbury gas coooker?

When i turn on the gas in the cooker, it comes on at low power, but the power does not increase to full, it simply stays on low. How can I fix it?

The most common cause with all cookers is the flame failure valve in the oven.Its a major stripdown to change and is quite expensive im afraid.
