Kelvinator washing machine 380 deluxe won't drain?

Hi
We cold water wash and I know that after a while (a year or two) the bowl can seize up and good dose of boiling water will release the 'lock-on' and I have fixed this before. Today this happened and I applied the boiling water trick and now the bowl spins freely but, having drained but not spun an hour ago, it now spins but doesn't drain! Did I cause this and how can I fix it?

The water is drained by the motor going in reverse & drives the pump by means of a flexible drive between the motor top cover & the pulley on the pump. Take off back panel & start machine on spin. See if the motor is actually turning the drain pump pulley. If it is then the pump will have to come off to see if there is a blockage. You will have to get water out first because it will pour out once you loosen the pump holding screws.
